Dear Faith Leaders and Partners,

The 2019 Homeless Point In Time count is coming up this January, and your support is needed.

The Point In Time is a biennial count of people experiencing homelessness at a given point in time during the last ten days in January. The count provides vital information that helps us better understand homelessness in the community. It helps the organizations working to end homelessness in Orange County identify which services are needed, identify trends and changes over time, and decide how best to work together to collaboratively solve this complex social issue.

Orange County will be conducting the 2019 Point In Time count on Wednesday, January 23 and Thursday, January 24.

Here are three simple ways you can play a role:

  1. Volunteer: Let your fellow colleagues, congregations, community groups, and networks know about this opportunity. Pass along theattached flyer, and click here to sign up!
  2. Donate: Encourage your communities to lead donation drives for care items that will support our homeless neighbors. You’ll find details in the attached flyer, or you can contact us.
  3. Educate: Spread the word! Click here to download the social media guideand social media content. This is a great way to help us get the word out.

Please let us know if there is a key contact we should reach out to or a meeting we should attend that you would believe would be essential for informing, educating, and building the volunteer base for this project.

We are very excited to partner with your community and make the Orange County 2019 Point In Time count a success together! To learn more, visit EveryoneCountsOC.org.

Warmest regards,
